In The Field: Be A Good Ambassador Of Photography #314

News reports about photographers breaking rules or mistreating beautiful locations seem to be more frequent. Or maybe I am just attuned to it. Like when you buy a car and suddenly realize how many of the same model or color are actually on the roads.
Landscapes are beautiful and I love photographing them. I am also a firm believer in respecting nature and its ecosystems. Especially national parks and other protected lands. On a visit to Cottonball Basin in Death Valley, I decided against a march out across the flats. And I still came away with photos I liked.
