Self Portrait In La Jolla
The skies looked really promising last Saturday evening. I spent a few hours exploring the rocks and tide pools around La Jolla, taking advantage of the low tide.
Sunset fizzled and I continued hopping around the rocks shooting at twilight. Another photographer walked into my composition, looking for their own shots. I wanted him to pause... but he moved through too quickly and ghosted in the photo.
I set the timer on the camera and scurried out into the shot before the light faded. It's my favorite photo from the shoot.
